We start our tour from the place where, today, is found the oldest plane tree in Europe. According to local tradition, in the shade of this tree Hippocrates taught his students.
The small platanos square is located right at the entrance of the medieval castle of the city and is surrounded by buildings of different eras, that testify to the long history of the island.
We continue to Nafklirou Street and, overlooking the area of the " ancient agora " we reach Eleftherias Square, finding ourselves in front of the archeological museum, a real jewel of today's city. It hosts finds from all over the island, with impressive collections that take us on a journey through the religious, commercial and artistic life of ancient times.
